An upgrade from the still-functional Bosch Unlimited Series 8 – definitely a step in the right direction. My wife is absolutely delighted, and that’s the key. I’d tried using a Bosch BBS611 on it before, but that one wasn’t as good, so I sent it straight back and exchanged it for this model, to everyone’s satisfaction.

The tap has a similar weakness to the previous models – the joint between the tap and the pipe – which repeatedly cracked on the previous model; the same design is used here. I hope it lasts.
I bought the Model 10 after reading a positive review in dTest; this model uses a smaller battery, which I see as an advantage as it makes it lighter. The battery lasts long enough for a quick clean without any problems; for a more thorough clean, I can use the batteries from my power tools if needed. It’s a shame about the kink-prone hoses, but in terms of price, this model is significantly better value than the 10. Thanks to the large roller, quite a lot of dog hair gets tangled up, but it’s not as though none at all does. But the cylinder can be removed, so cleaning it is no problem. The build quality looks good, so I’m confident it will last, and it seems that spare parts are available if needed.

The vacuum cleaner cleans very well, is well-built and has plenty of suction power. It shines a light on the area being vacuumed, so you can see if it’s clean. We use it a lot at home with our dog and we’re happy with it. We also have an older model, which still works well. Emptying the dust is easier with the newer model, but unlike the older one, things sometimes get stuck in the container.

We’ve only been using the Bosch vacuum cleaner at home for a short while, but our first impression is very good. What I appreciate most is that it’s light, easy to handle, and I can quickly grab it for a quick tidy-up without having to get the standard hoover out. The suction power is more than adequate for everyday vacuuming of floors, carpets and crumbs. I also like the design, the attachments and how easy it is to empty the container. Another advantage is that it doesn’t take up much space and is always to hand. One minor drawback, in my view, is that the battery runs out more quickly at higher power settings, so you’ll need to factor in recharging for larger cleaning jobs. Overall, however, I’m happy with the vacuum cleaner and would definitely recommend it for everyday household use.

Easy, quick to use. Thanks to the light, you can see the vacuumed areas perfectly. It is very quiet compared to my previous one.
