It goes on well, smells like raspberries, but nothing extremely sweet, it's a subtle scent which I appreciate. I bought it mainly because of the reviews that said it was the best lip stick to moisturize lips. But if you suffer from dry and chapped lips, even this stick won't save you. For me it's better average, I have to paint it very often and it's still not enough in winter. I bought it on sale, I wouldn't buy it at full price, the quality doesn't match the price. And be careful, it's very easy to turn, so don't destroy it with the lid.
