The model purchased in August 2023 apparently also has Bluetooth built in and can thus be controlled via an app from the manufacturer ("CAR FRIDGE FREEZER"). This is an undocumented feature, there is no mention of it in the manual. You can tell that the model has it by the glowing Bluetooth logo on the display. Bluetooth works even when the device is switched off (but powered on) and can be used to switch the device on and off.
