Perhaps if it were placed inside a PVC pipe and securely fastened to the fence or buried in the ground, it might even survive for a while. For that price, though, it’s an absolute disgrace.
The instructions are also very funny. The wire must not come into contact with metal. The wire must not touch itself; switch it off during thunderstorms; it must not be near electronic equipment or sources of radiation.
