Great product. It makes full use of the speed of NVMe drives. The speeds are as advertised, just be careful which USB-C port on your laptop you plug it into. The enclosure is on the heavier side, but it is made from a solid piece of metal, so it dissipates heat brilliantly. I am glad there is no fan in it, as in devices like this, they tend to be more of a useless point of failure. It is not much larger than some significantly slower/cheaper enclosures. The rubber sleeve is great, it is definitely needed and, on top of that, it won't scratch my MacBook when I place it on it.

It works, 3GB/s speed is realistic.
I have to throw a cloth over it at night because it blinks with a bright blue light, but I'm worried the cloth will catch fire because the thing gets so hot you can't hold it in your hand. That rubber frame is there for a good reason. I'm going to try ordering something with a fan from Amazon, because this is extreme.
It's a brick. My idea of sticking it to the laptop lid was a mistake. And it would probably melt the plastic around it.
