I do not recommend the product for USB-C to USB-C connection, it runs at a tenth of the speed.
Quite durable plastic
When using ssd relatively fast only over USB-A cable, about 260mb/s, but when using USB-C to USB-C cable transfer only 20-25mb/s, tested on multiple devices and multiple cable connections.
