Someone objected to the complexity of assembling these chairs - unless you're a complete anti-techie type, you'll get it done with the left back: ). I encountered absolutely no hitches. As for the negatives, some may be bothered by the weight of the chair. But if you don't need to carry it across the threshold every day, I don't think you'll even notice. What I appreciate most (besides the comfort and such) is the surface from which crumbs and dog hair simply slide away. I've had the chair for over four months, I'm still the same satisfied.
