Not sure what's going on – I have a new LG 32u850sa monitor (which has 90W Power Delivery) and a Lenovo ThinkPad – and the laptop won't charge via this cable (meaning Power Delivery isn't working), but data transfer (the screen) works.
When I connect it with a USB-C to USB-C cable from an iPhone 16, it only charges the laptop but doesn't transmit the video (because it's just a cable for charging an iPhone).
So this cable doesn't work for my set-up, even though it probably should.
