The cable is completely useless, it constantly falls out of the phone, headphones, and adapter at the slightest movement. Never buying cables from Alza again! They don't last at all and keep falling out.

with normal use, it always breaks within a month – it only charges in certain positions (claimed twice, we'll see if it lasts this time)

The claim was quick, I submitted it in the evening (I didn't even return the cable) and the next day a new one arrived in my AlzaBox.
after a few months it stopped charging, I had to bend and "tweak" the cable a bit, the connections probably failed

It's said to last up to 10 years. lasted us about a month with daily use. And we've had a lot of those Alzapower cables over the last year. And they all, after a month to six months, ended the same way. Claims. Alzapower cables have a big disadvantage and that is, they stop charging. Once we plug the cable into the device, and then move it around a bit it stops charging. You have to look for a position when it starts charging again. I really don't, I need a cable I can rely on.
Short life, stops charging very soon
