Narrow for my taste, but that's because I need a shoe more for the road than for the cess. I gave 5 stars because of the beautiful workmanship, material and details like the zipper loop that sticks to the velcro and does not form an island that would move so freely and unstick the shoe. My calf is holding up nicely, my ankle too, but my foot doesn't fit and my ankle feels like a Spanish boot.
Good workmanship
Aside from my wide ankle, it's a comfortable shoe, but I don't want to risk it not pulling up on a longer trip and me suffering.
