Review title: Defective piece right from the factory - non-functional product.
The kettle was non-functional right out of the box. After unscrewing the connector cover (plug), it turned out to be a clear manufacturing defect. The main power cable is not soldered to the central contact at all and the side ground/contact wires are loose and sticking out. There appears to have been no quality control in production. I am returning the item and definitely do not recommend it.
