Defect after about a year - labelled as a feature. The screen goes black, and you have to remove the batteries and plug it into the charger - which sort of resets it. Both the service centre and Alza agree that this is a feature. Please, where in the manual does it say that a black screen is a feature? I would never have bought this in my life. I'm attaching a photo - apparently, this isn't a defect according to the service centre, but a feature. Brilliant.
the device measures accurately
long battery life
after about a year a fault appeared – the screen goes black and stays black. you have to take the batteries out and connect it to the charger – this resets it, and then you can put the batteries back in
When I wanted to claim a refund under warranty for this device, they rejected my claim, saying that the screen turning black is a normal feature when data is updated. I challenged them to show me where this is described in the manual. They didn't show me. They just said it is the statement of an authorised service centre and there is nothing they can do about it.
I had taken photos of the device with this fault, and I sent it back to them with this fault. They just reset the device, repaired it, and rejected the warranty claim.
A huge disappointment for me – both with the appliance and the authorised service centre, as well as with Alza's attitude, which aligns itself with the service centre's obviously incorrect stance.

The measurement itself works great - the sensors are accurate, PM2.5, CO₂, VOC, temperature and humidity give reliable readings and the display is clear. The app is intuitive and allows you to view historical data and charts, so the average user is satisfied. But for me the device is practically useless for automation. Even though the device actually sends data to the cloud every 2.5 minutes or so, the API returns it consolidated, skipping some batches and creating gaps of up to 40 minutes. It is therefore useless for controlling the purifier and I have the device more as a decoration. In the end, I solved everything with a sensor that supports Matter and Thread and with it the automation works exactly as it should - without missing data and with a reliable interval. Overall: Airthings is fine for visual air quality monitoring and reporting, but if you're planning on automation, the cloud API just isn't enough.

A wide variety of sensors
Great app
Can’t work as an Airthings hub from batteries - requires USB power for that
Can’t work locally without connecting to Airthings servers, meaning if the company goes belly up - so will all of our devices

Precise measurements and clear results
A great app that not only displays graphs and values, but also explains what each measured variable means, what it causes and what their "healthy" limits are.
The app is not in Czech.

The product is solid, although not the cheapest in its segment. Still, I have three already, and I do not regret it.
Easy to set up
Easy mobile software interface
Easy web software interface
Not many options to customize what you display
Difficult to set alarms out of the default ranges preconfigured by the provider.
