To be honest - I've never had much luck with travel hair dryers. Most of the time they either didn't blow or were heavy, noisy and completely unusable for long hair. So when I ordered the AENO HD2, I was pretty skeptical. But oops - a small, lightweight package arrived, and inside was an elegant velvet pouch. The hairdryer was like a little treasure hidden inside. I'm already impressed. I tried it for the first time on my holiday in the Tatras - and I was really impressed. The weather there was like a seesaw - sun for a while, then wind, humidity, rain. I have dyed and brittle hair that is absolutely destroyed by this weather. But after drying with this blow dryer, my hair was sleek, soft and most importantly - not frizzy! All in a matter of minutes. What surprised me the most was the performance. Really strong blowing current, yet the hairdryer is neither heavy nor noisy. The cable reached even where the socket was not quite ideally placed, which is a common problem in accommodation. Operation is easy, mode switching is fast. I was a bit disappointed that you can't set the temperature to high on a weaker current - for hair shaping, this would be useful sometimes. Still, it's a small thing. For me, the AENO HD2 is a great companion for your backpack or suitcase. It doesn't get in the way, but it does a great service. If it had more features, I'd consider it for the home. But as a travel hairdryer? Without a doubt the best I've had so far.
