The computer is great - with the addition of 2x8GB RAM and 1TB SSD it becomes a nimble and quite powerful computer. At 1440p resolution, it handled older games at maximum detail at 60fps, and the graphics included in the CPU have good performance. The only thing that spoils it is the noise from the fan. Even in the BIOS itself the cpu temperature is 84C and the fan is 4800rpm - an unpleasant noise. On the desktop at 0% CPU utilization, the speed is the same and the temperature is around 60C. Interestingly, it blows warm air, so the error in the IHS > heat sink transfer is not a problem. The processor simply heats up even when its potential is not used and therefore makes noise. That's the only thing I could find fault with on this device.
The product will probably be good, but Alza should be ashamed of the confusing label. When they write on the RAM that two slots out of two are occupied, I assume the RAM is there. Same with the hard drive. Unfortunately, this model is without hard drive and RAM.
