Bonding ability amazing - plexiglass on doors, door stop to tiles, everything has held for several years - where other methods have failed

It's beautiful and it holds
Glues the whole roll around the circumference
The cover strap is not peeling off properly
I still haven't figured out why the price/performance ratio is so high

Unfortunately, even when properly cleaned and applied, it only sticks to metal. It cannot be used on plastic or painted surfaces; it will stop sticking within a week; A 10 cm strip can hold a maximum of 250 g. I had to buy a second tape somewhere else.
It adheres well to metal surfaces
Great for sticking uneven or irregular objects
Absolutely minimal load-bearing capacity
Does not stick to plastic or painted surfaces
It cannot hold a 3-socket extension lead upright
It cannot hold the LAN cable clip in place around the door frame (without tension)

Peels well from the surface
After a few days it peels off, I tried degreasing the surface, sticking tape throughout. Nothing helped, it's a gel tape that won't hold anything on the pull.
