The ViewSonic brand never ceases to amaze. For the price during the Alza Days, it was an unbeatable purchase. The picture quality is surprising.
performance / price ratio
The picture quality is unbeatable for the price.
the curved screen is just right
Lower, but perfectly adequate brightness

I am more or less satisfied with the monitor
The picture quality matches the price ( I don't see any big negatives) and is sufficient for casual gaming or watching movies.
A flat screen is nice at this diagonal
The sound quality of the integrated speakers is horrendous ( my old lower mid-range Asus has many times better sound quality)

The monitor is beautifully sized and the colors are vivid, the curvature is just right
VESA
Weight: it's lightweight, so it's perfect for the shoulder
Menu in Czech
Nvidia G-sync support
For an 8k monitor, I've got quite a few dead pixels. It started with one grey and now I have 4 more.
The picture is ghosting, and it's pretty bad.
the luminance on the sides of the screen deteriorates. White spots are almost all over the edge of the screen
It burns the image very quickly, so what happens pretty quickly is that the desktop or some static part of the game burns onto your image.
It wears out quickly after a year of daily use I'm already looking for a new monitor. Eight grand just thrown away on a bad pick.
HDR is fake

Met expectations, for games, photos, movies super
It's too big for normal work (so don't be surprised)
Somewhat unfortunate placement of the control buttons and switch on the back
