MSI has made a monitor that delivers much of what others offer at double the price or even more. I am surprised and impressed, even though I've known this brand for many years. For an unbeatable price here on Alza, you'll find a real gem if you want performance at a great price and don't need all the redundant ports for connectivity and charging and so on. On foreign websites, I found it labelled as the "king among the budget monitors" – but believe me – this isn't just for those on a budget because it's cheap; it is great because of what it offers. I bought this monitor for its design, even though it's a gaming model. The specs look perfect on paper, so the fault is more with my choice than the monitor itself. That's why I'm giving it a full rating to be fair. The picture is sharp and the results for photos are really nice. The picture can be tuned quite well in manual mode, but I would have expected a little more, especially as the brightness control and other settings are non-functional in sRGB mode. The main thing that bothers me is the uneven backlighting, which is most noticeable on light surfaces. For gaming and general use, I'm sure it will be perfect.
