IPS panel, classic. Good viewing angles, high resolution 4K UHD on 27" looks nice. The colours are OK too (I'm a layman, not a professional)
I'd say it's a daytime monitor since at night and in dark scenes the backlight shines through quite intensely. And he's canceling it! But this only applies to dark scenes, it's not visible in light scenes. I guess it's also the price, what I'd expect for 4 grand. An IPS monitor for 10-15k might not have this problem
