It never occurred to me that any type of smart can't do that (that's what smart is for). Only after a longer research I found out that the manual only mentions a DNLA connection. I don't understand what's going on, nor do I want to. However, in my opinion, the average customer should be explicitly warned of this fact in the basic description when choosing this TV.
