Red Dead Redemption - Xbox One Digital
RDR is a phenomenal game and one of the best of the year. The great attention to detail is evident in every aspect and it's a title every gamer should play at least once.

Fight for Survival in a Harsh World
John Marston is a tough guy with a scruffy face and a dark past that on one beautiful sunny day forces him to leave his family and his quiet life in the Wild West and embark on a new adventure. And that's what awaits him in Red Dead Redemption, an open-world western from none other than the creators of GTA IV. Expect one-off missions, complex and long-term objectives, western minigames, horse and stagecoach rides, wild game hunts, and devilishly difficult shootouts.

You'll only ever carry what you can have on your person: a lasso under your belt, a knife in your pant leg and a rifle in your hand, for example, but never more than four items at a time.

In the game there is implemented a system of gradual healing, so you will not have to collect any first aid kits.

An Impressive Weapon Arsenal
It wouldn't be a Rockstar game if you didn't have as large a weapon arsenal as possible, so expect knives, pistols, rifles, shotguns, lassoes and more.

Explore a Vast Landscape
Just like GTA, this world is divided into three sections that will be unlocked as you play, meaning you won't be able to just get on your horse and ride across the whole prairie at the very beginning. You'll start in what's called Frontier, a mountainous frontier with lots of canyons, passes and small towns. The main storyline then takes you to Mexico, which you'll recognise on sight by the much redder sands, and finally to the more northern regions in the last act.
