Igen aprítja a levelet. Tapasztalatom szerint kb. 25-40 %-kal csökken a térfogat.
A kés anyagával kapcsolatban nem vagyok teljesen biztos, de úgy láttam, hogy műanyag ami aprítja a levelet. (Viszonylag tartósnak látszik.)
