Ez a kukta a főzés szempontjából nem különbözik bármely más kuktától. Általában bármely gabonát meg lehet főzni kuktában, így ebben a kuktában is.

Gerslit, barnarizst, kölest, hajdinát már főztünk kuktában, az működik. (Barnarizst, kölest már ebben is.) Figyelni kell arra, hogy mindegyiknek más a főzési ideje. Ha nem tartod be, akkor vagy kemény marad, vagy kulimász lesz. A neten utána lehet nézni. A barnarizs pl. 40-45 perc.
