Choosing the right Power Bank
Power Banks mostly differ in the built-in battery capacities.
- up to 6000 mAh – suitable for charging mobile phones and other compact devices such as MP3/4 players, etc.
- over 6000 mAh – suitable for charging both mobile phones and tablets. This group also includes Power Banks designed for laptops. In order to recharge a laptop, the Power Bank must feature an outlet for notebook power cord.
The output current of each port is another important aspect.
Basically, the larger the output current, the faster the charging is. However, to avoid any damage you must check the maximum current your device can process. Standard output currents are:
- 2.1 A - i.e. fast charging port – suitable for large-scale charging. Ideal for charging tablets, or fast charging of mobile phones.
