The standard intelligent battery provides a maximum flight time of up to 40 minutes, giving you plenty of time for landscape photography, video recording, and using automatic flight modes. The actual endurance depends on flight speed, weather conditions, temperature, and the features used. The battery can be charged with the supplied USB-C cable. ¹
Lightweight Potensic Atom3 Standard Remote Kit drone ready for travel
The Potensic ATOM 3 weighs less than 249g, including the standard battery, propellers, and a microSD card, and is classified in the European C0 class. When folded, it measures just 148×91×62mm, so you can easily store it in a backpack or its own carry case. The compact design makes it easy to take on trips, holidays, and longer journeys without the drone taking up unnecessary space. Operation is always governed by the applicable rules in the place of use.
Detailed photos and 4K/60fps HDR video
The camera, with its large 1/1.3" CMOS sensor, captures photos with a resolution of up to 50Mpx and 4K video at up to 60 frames per second. HDR helps to better preserve detail in both the bright and dark parts of the scene, so it can handle brightly lit landscapes, sunsets, and dynamic sports shots, for example. An f/2.8 aperture, an equivalent focal length of approximately 24mm, and a maximum data rate of 120Mbps contribute to preserving fine details.
Three-axis gimbal and footage ready for editing
The three-axis mechanical gimbal stabilises the camera on the tilt, roll, and pan axes, reducing vibrations during flight. P-Log mode preserves a wider range for subsequent colour grading, while RAW (DNG) photos provide greater possibilities when processing exposure, colours, and details. HDR, panoramic photography, and a Med-Tele mode with a perspective corresponding to approximately a 48mm focal length for more prominent portraits or landscape details are also available.
Better results even after dark
AI Night mode uses advanced image processing for cleaner shots in low light. It helps to reduce overexposed highlights and preserve more detail in the dark parts of a scene, for example when shooting an illuminated city, an evening landscape, or night-time landmarks. Night shots can be captured in up to 4K at 30fps.
Vertical video and up to 7× slow-motion
Native vertical shooting in 2.7K resolution creates a video with a 9:16 aspect ratio directly in the camera, so you can conveniently use it on social media without additional cropping of the horizontal image. Dynamic moments can also be captured using slow-motion video in Full HD with up to 7× slow-down.
Stable PixSync 5.0 image transmission
PixSync 5.0 technology ensures image transmission in 1080p resolution at 60fps with a range of up to 16km in an open, interference-free space. Automatic use of the 2.4, 5.2, and 5.8GHz bands helps maintain a more stable connection even in environments with a large number of wireless networks. The low-latency live preview facilitates precise control and composition checks during flight. ²
AI Tracking 2.0 keeps the subject in the frame
AI Tracking 2.0 can recognise the tracked object and keep it in the composition as it moves. AI Follow mode follows the object, AI Parallel moves alongside it, and AI Spotlight leaves flight control to the user while the camera automatically tracks the selected target. The Potensic Atom3 Standard Remote Kit drone also supports low-altitude tracking below 4 metres, which is only available with the full-coverage propeller guard, sold separately. ³
Automatic cinematic shots and pre-planned routes
AI QuickShots modes help create impressive shots without complex manual control. Options include Pull-away, Rocket, Circle, Spiral, Boomerang, Dolly Zoom, and Drift. Using the Waypoint function, you can pre-set waypoints and let the drone automatically fly the planned path, which is useful for repeated shooting of landscapes, buildings, or larger areas.
More precise AR RTH return
The automatic Return to Home (RTH) function helps bring the drone back to its take-off point upon manual activation, low battery, or loss of connection. The augmented AR RTH display visualises the return route and important flight points, while landing pad recognition supports a more accurate completion of the return. The drone is not equipped with an obstacle avoidance system, so it is necessary to correctly set the return altitude and monitor the surroundings and the planned route at all times.
Fast downloads and the user-friendly Potensic Eve app
After landing, you can transfer photos and videos directly from the Potensic Atom3 Standard Remote Kit drone to your phone via Wi-Fi at speeds of up to 30MB/s, without the remote controller needing to be connected. The Potensic Eve app offers a live preview, camera and flight settings, flight log playback, album browsing, and management of saved files. The standard controller communicates with the smartphone via a data cable.
Optional Potensic Care service
An optional Potensic Care service is also available for the ATOM 3, which, depending on the selected plan, provides the option of a drone replacement in the event of accidental damage or other included events. The service is not automatically part of the package and must be purchased and activated separately. ⁴
