The Pioneer VSX-835D AV receiver delivers 4K HDR picture accompanied by the powerful sound of digitally remastered IMAX content. Pioneer's IMAX Enhanced mode is carefully optimised for playing digitally enhanced content. DTS:X can automatically adapt the audio to the number of channels and speaker setup, so there is no need to rearrange your existing speaker setup into other specific positions. At the same time, DTS Virtual:X brings three-dimensional immersive sound without additional speakers behind or above the listener. Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer also allows you to experience immersive sound without using surround speakers, as it creates sound effects above the listening position from conventionally placed speakers.

Music in Dolby Atmos Format
Pioneer receivers are among the first home audio-video receivers to play Dolby Atmos content from HDMI inputs, into which you can plug all your favourite streamers. HDMI 2.1a supports a whole range of video content with higher resolutions and refresh rates including 8K 60Hz and 4K 120Hz, as well as Dynamic HDR formats. HDMI 2.1a ensures that action-packed film scenes, rendered at a 60Hz refresh rate and 8K resolution, will be smooth and sharp.
Quality Restored
Advanced Sound Retriever technology restores the output of compressed audio formats (such as WMA, AAC and MP3) to their original lossless quality by creating new information that restores the fine details lost during the compression process.
Easy Connection
Using a microphone and the MCACC (Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration System) for automatic room acoustic tuning, differences in speaker size, signal level, distance and response are equalised, so you get a homogeneous sound. Any audio played on your phone, tablet or PC can be streamed to the receiver using Bluetooth wireless technology.
