The K-70 is a conveniently compact camera with an APS-C sensor without an AA filter for perfectly natural image detail with minimal moiré. The newly developed noise reduction technology captures super high sensitivity (up to ISO 102400) and captures beautiful, vibrant images without signs of graininess, even at high sensitivity settings. The hybrid AF system and advanced image stabilization then captures up to 6 frames per second in a delicate, 14bit RAW. A reliable tool
Photographers often end up in extreme situations. The K-70 camera is resistant to dust and water, in addition to being able to shoot in cold areas (down to -10°C). Resistance to cold weather means that the camera will remain stable and responsive, the mechanisms and circuits will also continue to function with a high level of accuracy, including minimizing fluctuations in battery voltage. Even in cold conditions, it will be easy to handle the camera with one hand in a glove. the camera was designed with the utmost care and emphasis on optimum comfort and maximum serviceability. True stabilization
To ensure that you are able to shoot at great distances or with longer exposure times, the camera features a progressive stabilization mechanism. Shake Reduction (SR) effectively compensates for camera shake by up to 4.5 EV degree, regardless of the type of lens. The image sensor tilts in all directions. The Pixel Shift Resolution System captures four images from the same scene, moving the image sensor by one pixel for each image. These can subsequently be combined into a single image. The result is exceptional sharpness an unbelievable level of detail. This system also has a Motion Correction feature, that automatically detects the moving object during continuous shooting.
Dust resistant
As you change the lens, expose the dust sensor. You will discover that it is coated with a layer of highly reliable SP (Super Protect) that is resistant to dust on the critically important sensor surface. If any dust remains on the surface, a special DR (Dust Remover) wipes out any dust particles, that could interfere with taking high-quality images, using high-speed vibrations.
