The FireAngel FA 3322 CO detector continuously tests the monitored environment for the deadly hazard of carbon monoxide (CO) with an LCD display that warns and displays not only the current measured CO level, but also has an environmental warning function to alert you to low or high room temperature or humidity. The detector is powered by an integrated lithium power supply that exceeds the 10-year operating life of the device. Timely and accurate CO detection
Unlike conventional detectors, the advanced electrochemical sensor is designed to accurately measure low levels of carbon monoxide (CO) and provide an early warning on the LCD display before the acoustic warning of dangerous CO levels. A rapid response to rising CO levels is provided by smart sensor technology which, upon any detection above 180 ppm CO, enables the activation of a high sensitivity mode with a prediction of rising CO levels for faster alerting and activates an indication to open windows, ventilate the room thus minimizing the risk of CO poisoning and preventing the accumulation of dangerous levels of carbon monoxide. Thanks to the automatic diagnostic check, the sensor continuously verifies its functionality and immediately signals any malfunction. In addition, it is also able to warn when it has reached the end of its life.
Environmental warning function
In standby mode, the LCD screen displays the current room temperature in degrees Celsius (°C) or warns of dangerously low or high humidity or ambient temperature conditions. The multifunction LCD display then changes colour to indicate different warnings and at the same time gives the user the impulse to react accordingly to the situation. The night mode sensor is able to automatically detect that it is night and then dim the brightness of the optical signaling or acoustic signaling in case of low power supply capacity.
Special design
The design of the device allows the device to operate without the need for fixed anchoring, and thus becomes portable with the possibility of simple and stable placement on a horizontal surface (for example, on a bedside table, shelf, etc.). Moisture-resistant design, making the device suitable for placement or installation in bathrooms with karma, gas boiler, boiler rooms, etc.
Dangerous carbon monoxide
Carbon monoxide is a colourless gas, tasteless and odourless, which is produced by the misfiring of fossil fuels, like coal, oil, natural gas, LPG, coal and wood. It can also be produced by poorly maintained or broken fuel-burning appliances used for domestic heating, such as boilers, gas appliances, feeds, grills, clogged chimneys, Ventilation systems or damaged flue pipes. Common symptoms of CO poisoning include headache, nausea, fatigue or muscle pain - but these can easily be confused with a diagnosis of flu.
