Laminating Film Thickness

If you want to have laminated sheets or cards, it is better to choose a thicker film (at least about 90 - 125 µ). A film of around 80 µ will do if you simply want your documents or teaching aids to last longer.

• Film thickness 80 µ and less - very thin and weak film suitable for laminating documents that don't get exposed to bad weather (info boards etc.). Relatively cheap.
• Film thickness over 100 µ - suitable for laminating information cards, ID cards or teaching materials. These thick films are tougher, don't peel off, and can withstand plenty of wear and tear.
