This compact 1800 version offers a gasket-mounted design, sound-absorbing foam, double-shot PBT keycaps, and other premium features to elevate your typing experience, bringing greater comfort and productivity. For seamless multitasking between your computer, phone, and tablet, you can easily connect the V5 Max to up to three devices via Bluetooth 5.1. For an enhanced wireless experience, the V5 Max is equipped with both Type-C and Type-A receivers. This enables quick plug & play use, and they can be stored in the magnetic slot on the top right corner of the keyboard. Thanks to its gasket-mounted design and a PC (polycarbonate) plate, the V5 Max reduces acoustic resonance, ensuring a quieter typing experience and greater flexibility.

An epic core inside the keyboard
A powerful ARM MCU architecture equipped with 256KB of Flash memory provides developers with greater flexibility. The polling rate is 1000Hz right out of the box, which makes latency almost imperceptible even in competitive games.
OSA profile double-shot PBT keycaps
The double-shot PBT keycaps have a similar height to the OEM profile and a shape inspired by the SA profile. The OSA (OEM spherical angled) designation reflects their combined design. The PBT material ensures high resistance to grease, improves the typing feel, and prevents the legends from fading.
Switch layouts between macOS and Windows
The Keychron V5 Max is designed with the macOS user experience in mind, while maintaining full compatibility with Windows devices. It offers a system switch and a set of keycaps for both macOS and Windows. The keyboard allows you to save two different layouts—one for each system.
Hot-swappable
The hot-swap sockets are mounted on the PCB, so you can easily install or change switches without soldering. The PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX mechanical switches.
Screw-in PCB stabilisers
Screw-in stabilisers mounted on the PCB ensure smoother operation and less wobble on large keys like the spacebar, shift, enter, and delete. The Keychron V5 Max also supports third-party screw-in PCB stabilisers.
Gateron Jupiter switch
The Gateron Jupiter mechanical switches (fully assembled version only) feature a 3-pin design and are pre-lubed to Gateron's quality standards, with a lifespan of up to 80 million keystrokes. The unique LED diffuser design ensures high RGB backlight transmittance and a softer lighting effect. The Banana variant offers an early tactile point with a very smooth action, similar to Panda switches.
South-facing RGB LED lights
The south-facing RGB LED is designed to better illuminate the keys from the user's perspective, even when using high-quality non-shine-through PBT keycaps. It also prevents interference with Cherry-profile or other alternative keycaps.
