The Keychron V3 Max RGB, Gateron Jupiter Red is a QMK custom mechanical keyboard with 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. It features a classic TKL layout and offers a gasket mount design, sound-absorbing foam, double-shot PBT keycaps and more. Each component is designed to be easily assembled, so you can customise and adjust any or all parts to your liking. For seamless multitasking between your computer, phone, and tablet, you can effortlessly connect the V3 Max to up to three devices via Bluetooth 5.1. Powerful core inside the keyboard, OSA profile double-shot PBT keycaps and gasket mount design
A powerful ARM architecture MCU equipped with 256K Flash provides greater flexibility for developers. The polling rate is 1000Hz straight out of the box, which makes latency barely noticeable even in competitive games. Double-shot PBT keycaps have a similar height to the OEM profile and a shape similar to SA. They are called OSA (OEM spherical angled) keycaps. The PBT keycaps provide excellent oil resistance, improve the typing feel, and prevent the legends from fading. By using a gasket mount design along with a PC (polycarbonate) plate, the V3 Max reduces acoustic resonance and provides a softer, quieter typing experience with greater flexibility.
Designed with the user in mind
The Keychron V3 Max RGB, Gateron Jupiter Red is designed with Mac users in mind while remaining compatible with Windows devices. The Keychron V3 Max has a system toggle and an additional set of keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard, one for each system.
Hot-swap, south-facing RGB LED lights and Gateron Jupiter switches
Hot-swap sockets are mounted on the PCB, so you can install or change switches without soldering. The PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX mechanical switches. The south-facing RGB LED is designed to better illuminate the Keychron V3 Max RGB, Gateron Jupiter Red keyboard's backlight from the user's perspective with the non-shine-through PBT keycaps. South-facing RGB also doesn't interfere with compatibility when using OEM or Cherry profile keycaps.
Hot-swap, south-facing RGB LED lights and Gateron Jupiter switches
Gateron Jupiter mechanical switches (for the fully assembled version only) feature a 3-pin design, are pre-lubed, and have a lifespan of up to 80 million keystrokes. Their unique LED diffuser offers high RGB light transmittance and a softer lighting effect. The Keychron V3 Max RGB, Gateron Jupiter Red has integrated screw-in PCB stabilisers for a smoother typing experience and less wobble on large keys like the spacebar, Shift, Enter, and Delete. The V3 Max also supports third-party stabilisers.
Programming with QMK and Launcher
The open-source QMK firmware means endless possibilities for key remapping, macros, shortcuts, and more. You can now easily customise every key using the Keychron Launcher web app. Use the latest version of Chrome, Opera, or Edge and connect your keyboard to your device in wired mode.
