Easily switch between macOS and Windows
Additionally, you can set different key maps for both macOS and Windows using the Keychron Launcher web app. The keyboard includes keycaps for both systems, including Esc and Enter keys, making it easy to switch seamlessly between operating systems.

A powerful ARM architecture MCU with 256KB of flash memory provides greater flexibility. The polling rate is 1000Hz in both 2.4GHz and wired modes right out of the box, making latency almost imperceptible even in competitive games.

Every switch on the K8 Max is hot-swappable with most 3-pin and 5-pin MX-style mechanical switches on the market (including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda, etc.) without any soldering. Customise your own typing experience in seconds.
Keychron Super Switch
The exclusive Keychron Super switch introduces a new, high-precision design. Each switch is tested for professional quality and has a lifespan of up to 50 million keystrokes, ensuring high reliability and performance over long-term use. The transparent top cover improves light transmission, providing a more consistent and brighter backlighting effect.
OSA profile double-shot PBT keycaps
To further refine your typing, the K8 Max is equipped with an OSA profile (OEM profile with a spherical angle) and double-shot PBT keycaps, which provide a more comfortable feel on your fingertips and high resistance to wear and oil for long-term use.
Screw-in PCB stabilisers
Integrated screw-in PCB stabilisers ensure smoother operation and less wobble on large keys like the spacebar, Shift, Enter, and Delete. The keyboard also supports third-party screw-in stabilisers.
Ergonomic support
Three levels of adjustable typing angle (3.4°, 7.7°, and 10.7°) and curved OSA-profile keycaps provide long-lasting ergonomic wrist support.
South-facing RGB backlighting
The south-facing RGB backlighting provides better illumination from the user's point of view and doesn't restrict the use of alternative Cherry profile keycaps. It offers more than 22 backlighting modes and lets you adjust the hue, saturation, brightness and effect speed.
