Keychron K4 HE Gateron Magnetic Switch - HU

Keychron K4 HE Gateron Magnetic Switch - HU
The Keychron K4 HE Gateron Magnetic Switch - HU gaming keyboard delivers top-tier performance by combining the feel of traditional mechanical keyboards with the advanced benefits of magnetic technology—all in a clean, minimalist design with natural wood details. This fully customisable wireless keyboard features a 96% layout and magnetic switches—a breakthrough in switch technology that uses magnetic sensors instead of physical contacts to measure activation depth, giving you full control over the response of every single switch. The special edition is available in two colour variants, both with natural wood accents—light wood for the white version and dark wood for the black version. Both editions have OSA-profile PBT keycaps and an aluminium frame with wooden elements.

Gateron double-rail magnetic switches
The Keychron K4 HE features pre-lubricated dual-rail Gateron magnetic switches and advanced TMR sensors for an ultra-stable and highly responsive typing experience, with an industry-leading, lightning-fast response and precise control over how the keyboard reacts.
Advanced TMR sensors
The Keychron K4 gaming keyboard is equipped with cutting-edge Tunnelling Magnetoresistance (TMR) technology to detect precise changes in distance and magnetic field through subtle shifts in resistance. Each key has a dedicated TMR sensor for superior resolution, ensuring precise accuracy, ultra-low latency, and an unparalleled magnetic switching experience.
Adjustable actuation point
Customise every key with precision—set the actuation point from 0.2mm to 3.8mm with 0.1mm sensitivity. Set shallow presses for instant actions and deeper ones for deliberate engagement, minimising accidental touches and giving you an edge in both gaming and typing.
Last Key Priority (LKP) and Snap Click
LKP enables smooth directional changes by prioritising the last key pressed, ensuring smoother gameplay in titles like Valorant. With Snap Click, deeper key presses take precedence when two keys are pressed simultaneously, automatically resetting the shallower presses.
*These are disabled by default, but you can easily enable them in the Launcher web app as needed.
One key, multiple actions
With Dynamic Keystroke (DKS), you can assign up to 4 different actions to a single key based on press depth. A light press moves your character, a deeper press makes them run, and releasing the key can trigger other commands. This layered control makes it easy to execute multiple movements.
Dynamic Rapid Trigger
Keys activate and deactivate based on press depth, not fixed points. This allows for instant reaction—press to activate, release to reset—and ensures a faster, more precise response. In fast-paced games, this lets you perform complex actions in real time without delay, giving you an advantage in dynamic situations.
Analogue mode
Analogue mode brings gamepad-like precision to your keyboard. It enables variable inputs instead of the usual on/off, ensuring smoother and more dynamic control. With every press, the depth is evaluated and converted into different speeds and intensities, improving control and responsiveness in games like racing or sports titles.
Program with QMK and Launcher
The open-source QMK firmware offers extensive options for remapping keys, macros, shortcuts, and other functions. Every key can be easily customised using the Keychron Launcher web app.
2.4GHz and Bluetooth connectivity
Experience top-tier gaming performance on the go with the K4 HE's 2.4GHz wireless connection, boasting a fast 1000Hz polling rate. For seamless multitasking across your computer, phone, and tablet, you can simply connect the K4 HE to three devices via Bluetooth 5.2.
An epic core inside the keyboard
Designed with a powerful chip (MCU) with 256K flash and open-source QMK firmware that provides high flexibility. A 1000Hz polling rate is available right out of the box in both USB-C and 2.4GHz modes, giving you an edge in competitive gaming.
Satisfying key acoustics
Thanks to pre-lubricated switches, 3.5mm EVA acoustic foam, EPDM foam, and a silicone pad, the Keychron K4 HE offers a pleasant, soft, and full typing sound that enhances the overall user experience.
Suitable for all devices
The K4 HE is designed with the Mac user experience in mind while maintaining compatibility with Windows devices. It comes with a system switch and an extra set of custom keycaps for both Windows and macOS. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard, one for each system.
Double-shot PBT keycaps
The PBT keycaps (non-shine-through OSA profile on special editions) provide excellent oil resistance, enhance the typing feel, and prevent the legends from fading.
Magnetic switches
Unlike mechanical switches, which rely on physical contact, magnetic switches use magnets to detect a keystroke. Swapping them for compatible magnetic switches is easy.
*The K4 HE is only compatible with the dual-rail magnetic switches available on the Keychron website.
North-facing RGB LED lights
Choose from over 22 backlight modes with options to adjust the hue, saturation, brightness, and speed of effects directly in the Keychron Launcher application. This lets you customise the look and create your own style.
