The Keychron K1 Max is an ultra-slim, customisable wireless mechanical keyboard. It supports 2.4GHz, Bluetooth and wired connections. It lets you remap keys and create macros in its 80% (TKL) layout via the Keychron Launcher web app. It also includes LSA (low-profile spherical-angled) keycaps for both Windows and macOS, and supports hot-swapping of low-profile Gateron mechanical switches. Gateron MX 2.0 switches are the ideal choice for a precise, smooth and reliable keystroke – whether you prefer linear (red) or tactile (brown). The K1 Max is fitted with unique double-shot PBT keycaps made from a durable, non-shine-through material that offers high resistance to wear and grease for long-term use. The keyboard offers over 22 types of RGB backlighting (including a static white mode) and 14 modes for the white backlight version. You can easily adjust the colour, saturation, brightness and effect speed.

The innovative low-profile Gateron switches are 31% slimmer than conventional switches, yet still provide a distinct tactile response. The open-source QMK firmware means unlimited possibilities for remapping keys, creating macros, shortcuts and more. Every key is easily customisable using the Keychron Launcher web app. The keyboard offers a Mac layout while remaining compatible with Windows. It stands out by providing the same multimedia and function keys as an Apple keyboard for Mac users, but with better tactile feedback. The keyboard includes keycaps for both systems, along with extra Esc and Enter keys, enabling easy switching between them.

Everyone has different typing preferences, which is why the K1 Max offers a hot-swap option that lets you easily change the low-profile Gateron mechanical switches in seconds. The stabilisers have been redesigned to stay on the same level as the switches while ensuring greater reliability and less wobble on large keys like the spacebar, left Shift, Backspace and Enter.
