You will be alerted to this fact by a siren or an app message on your phone. The smart app offers many useful functions specific to this device, in addition to offering the ultimate in home automation, through which you can automatically control the switching on and off of individual appliances according to events recorded by other devices in the iQtech® SmartLife family, or control other devices based on the status of individual sockets. All this is set up in a clear and localised mobile app available for both Android and Apple iOS devices. The app is also no stranger to integration with external smart assistants such as Apple Siri, Google Home, Amazon Alexa or the open automation system IFTTT.
