INTEL DX79SI supports DDR3 memory with a capacity up to 64 GB, which can be spread over a total of 8 slots or 2 slots per channel. There is also support XMP profiles that allow memory speed increase over 1600 MHz. To connect the graphics cards in multi-GPU connection NVIDIA SLI or AMD CrossFireX serve a total of 40 lines in three PCI Express 3.0 slots.
