HyperX Origins 2 1800 gaming keyboard - US
A compact gaming setup with a full-size keyboard and an RGB light show
This gaming keyboard adapts to your gaming and typing style. The HyperX Origins 2 1800 offers a compact layout that retains the full functionality of a standard keyboard, including a number pad, with dimensions of 38.8 × 14cm. Meanwhile, the removable matte coloured covers, secured by 8 screws, allow for a complete visual makeover without buying a new keyboard. The HyperX Linear Red mechanical switches, with 4mm of travel, are pre-lubricated at the factory and rated for 80 million keystrokes, ensuring a smooth and quiet keypress with an actuation point of 1.8mm. The 5-pin hot-swap sockets let you change switches whenever you want, without any soldering. A lightning-fast 8000Hz polling rate transmits every keystroke to your computer 8000 times per second – giving you the edge in situations where every millisecond counts. The O-ring gasket mount, removable silicone weight for reverb suppression, and plate-mounted stabilisers ensure a comfortable sound experience for both gaming and typing.

Acoustic comfort that every gamer and writer will appreciate
The exceptional sound experience of the HyperX Origins 2 1800 comes from a clever combination of several technologies. The O-ring gasket mount gives each press a light bounce and a deeper sound, the removable silicone weight absorbs vibrations and eliminates unpleasant reverb, while the plate-mounted stabilisers minimise key wobble on off-centre presses. The result is a keyboard that doesn't sound like a machine, but like a precision instrument – pleasant for both the gamer's ears and those around them.
8000Hz: the speed that makes the difference in critical moments
Standard gaming keyboards communicate with your computer 1000 times per second – the HyperX Origins 2 1800 does it eight times faster. An 8000Hz polling rate ensures that every keystroke reaches the game before the competition even knows what's happening, while N-key rollover with anti-ghosting registers any number of simultaneous presses without a single miss. Combined with HyperX Linear Red mechanical switches that actuate at just 1.8mm, this is a keyboard that responds exactly as your reflexes deserve.
The HyperX Origins 2 1800 has hot-swap switches
The HyperX Origins 2 1800 is one of the few gaming keyboards that gives you true freedom of choice without compromise. Its 5-pin hot-swap sockets are compatible with most 3 and 5-pin mechanical switches, letting you swap them out without a soldering iron – just pull out the old switch and pop in a new one. The HyperX Origins 2 1800 adapts to your mood and gaming style whenever you want, without needing to buy a whole new keyboard.
