HOYA 77mm HMC

The Hoya HMC UV filter is a universal UV absorption filter. The radiation manifests in blurred exterior photographs with bluish haze. The product also highlights the contrast between the sky and other objects. Due to a special technological process, Multi-coating, the filter lets 97% of the light through, which doesn't affect the exposure in any significant way. UV filters are also used to protect the lens from mechanical scratches.
