Processor performance
The device is powered by an Amlogic S905×5M-J quad-core processor built on 6nm technology. The processor delivers 30000 DMIPS of computing power for a smooth user interface experience. The hardware configuration is complemented by 4GB of RAM. The 64GB of eMMC internal storage offers plenty of capacity for installing apps and games. This ensures the system responds without delay, even when running demanding tasks.
AI-SR image technology
The integrated artificial intelligence upscales lower-resolution video signals to a higher quality. The AI-SR function analyses individual frames in real time and fills in missing pixels. This method removes digital noise and blurry edges from older video recordings. The resulting image has sharper contours, even on large-screen TVs. The player also supports the high dynamic range of HDR10+.
Sound formats
Support for Dolby Atmos surround sound completes the cinematic experience. The audio track is transmitted to compatible audio systems without any loss of quality. The device decodes advanced surround sound formats for realistic room acoustics. A digital optical S/PDIF output is included for connecting older amplifiers. This gives users a faithful reproduction of both sound effects and music.
Network connection
A stable data transfer for streaming high-bitrate video is ensured by the Wi-Fi 6 interface, which operates on the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands with high resistance to interference. A physical network connection is provided by the 1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet. This prevents image stuttering while watching online broadcasts. The wireless connectivity is rounded off with Bluetooth 5.2 technology.
Gaming options
The system supports cloud gaming platforms like NVIDIA GeForce NOW and Xbox Cloud Gaming. Gamers can download compatible Android games directly from the Google Play store. The wireless Bluetooth protocol is used to connect gamepads or keyboards. The high hardware performance supports smooth rendering of game graphics. This turns your TV into a gaming console without needing to buy expensive extra hardware.
Control and mirroring
The package includes a remote control that communicates via Bluetooth and doesn't require a direct line of sight to the device. The integrated microphone lets you use voice commands for Google Assistant. The Chromecast built-in feature mirrors multimedia content directly from your mobile phone. This makes it easy for users to display photos or videos on the big screen. USB 2.0 and USB-C ports are also available.
