SIKA SikaLastomer-514 C19 /12 CTR310 is a pasty, thixotropic, solvent-based sealant. It is non-curing and can be smoothed with itself, which ensures a technically and visually clean seal. It provides a permanently plastic seal in many industrial applications. It is particularly ideal for parts that need to be dismantled for repair or maintenance. It is used for sealing and creating plastic joints. It is suitable for use in the manufacture and maintenance of buses, caravans, motorhomes, cars and other similar industrial applications. SIKA SikaLastomer-514 C19 /12 CTR310 sealant can adhere to most clean and dry substrates without surface pre-treatment. It is suitable for professional use. Before application, tests must be carried out on specific substrates and under specific conditions to verify adhesion and material compatibility.

Application:
The surface must be clean, dry and free from dust, grease and oil. Apply the sealant into the joint, avoiding air entrapment, or apply a continuous bead to the substrate before joining. Apply enough sealant so that it is slightly squeezed out and can then be properly smoothed. Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C or above 35°C. Can be applied with a suitable manual or pneumatic dispenser. The sealant can be smoothed with itself for a few minutes after application. Before using smoothing products, their suitability and compatibility must be tested. Uncured SikaLastomer®-514 can be removed from tools or the work area with Sika® Remover-208. On non-porous surfaces, allow the sealant to dry and remove it by peeling it off. Hands and exposed skin must be treated immediately with Sika® Cleaner-350H wipes or another suitable industrial hand cleaner and water. Do not use solvents on skin. SikaLastomer®-514 cannot be painted over.
