The PILANA hand saw is suitable for smaller cutting jobs. A great advantage over the classic metal frame is the ability to hold the saw with one hand and hold the material to be cut with the other (free) hand. The advantage over a small hacksaw is that a handsaw is not just for cutting small parts. Saw blade (station wagon 24/14 TPI) is not restricted by the upper part of the handle and can therefore cut parts up to a diameter of approx. 120 mm. Combination gearing allows you to cut a wide variety of materials from wood to plastics to steel.
