PATTEX Wood Super 3, 750 g

PATTEX Wood Super 3 is a water-resistant dispersion adhesive designed for bonding wood and related materials exposed to high humidity or short-term water exposure. It features high strength and resistance to high temperatures. After curing, it is transparent, resistant to ageing, and the bond is flexible and can be painted over. It offers almost unlimited use, even for demanding wood types. Suitable for assembly and construction bonding, both indoors and outdoors, for example, on window and door frames or sashes, large-area bonding such as laminated pressed boards, chipboard on window sills, and for bonding jointed panels, for instance on kitchen worktops.

Instructions for use:
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of grease. The parts to be bonded must fit together precisely. The moisture content of the wood should be between 8–12%. Higher moisture content will prolong the curing time. Apply the adhesive to one side in a thin layer using a brush, plastic spatula, adhesive roller or machine applicator. When bonding hardwood, apply to both sides. Press both parts together and clamp or weigh down with a heavy object. The pressing time depends on the working conditions. Remove any excess adhesive immediately with a damp cloth. Cured material can only be removed mechanically. Close the adhesive container after use.
