The device can also detect wood, so you can easily find hidden beams, wooden structures, etc. When metal is detected, the display shows the approximate depth at which the found object is located (not valid for wood or electricity detection). The Extol 8831321 also displays its own position in ± x/y° coordinates, so you can also use it as an electronic spirit level that accurately displays the deviation from the horizontal when placed on an object. The detector is powered by a 9V 6LR61 battery that provides approximately 5 hours of operation. The battery and textile protective case are included.
