The Japanese manufacturer Hit-Air guarantees excellent quality, which is confirmed by the CE certificate EN 1621-4. Attaching it to the motorcycle is easy, as is replacing the cartridge after activation. Activation occurs within 77-92 ms. The mechanical design does not require recharging or maintenance. The protective elements of the Hit-Air MLV 2 may look cumbersome, but in practice they do not restrict movement. Adjustable internal straps allow you to adjust the size to your body. The vest is made of 600D polyester, nylon straps and polyester mesh. Polyurethane was used for the airbag and the part behind the activation mechanism is supplemented with visco elastane.
Easy installation and use of the MLV 2 airbag vest
The motorcycle airbag vest works on a mechanical principle. Used with a carbon-kevlar cable to attach to the motorcycle frame under the saddle or other suitable location. The activation is similar to a seat belt - it is only activated in the event of an actual fall. The trigger is calibrated to the force corresponding to the fall (usually from 30 km/h upwards). Once activated, the vest will deflate itself within two minutes. It can then be prepared for use again: blow out the excess air, activate the mechanism with an Allen key and insert a new CO₂ cartridge.
