HAMA Safe X40-W

The Hama Safe X40-W shredder is designed for document disposal. With its cross-cut action and P-4 security level, it transforms your sensitive data into small particles measuring just 4×33mm. The device shreds not only paper but also paper clips, staples, and plastic cards. It can shred up to 4 sheets of paper at once, and all waste is collected in the 8-litre bin.

Reliable protection for sensitive data

The P-4 security level ensures a high level of protection for your personal and company data in compliance with GDPR. The shredder cuts paper into particles measuring just 4×33mm, making them impossible to reassemble. The steel blades easily handle paper clips, so you don't have to remove them before shredding. The device operates at a speed of 1.8 metres per minute and allows for two minutes of continuous operation.

Safe and convenient operation

For easy operation, the shredder is equipped with an automatic start and stop function. As soon as you insert the paper, the process begins automatically and stops when finished. A reverse function is available to clear any paper jams. A safety cut-out protects the motor from overheating and overloading. If it switches off automatically, simply wait 30 minutes for the device to cool down. Another safety mechanism prevents operation if the shredder head is not correctly placed on the bin.
