The Genius 220BT has a compact and lightweight design
The active dual-channel (2.0) Genius 220BT soundbar is a space-saving solution for providing sound to your computer, TV or mobile devices in smaller rooms. Thanks to its compact, slim design (385 × 87 × 68mm) and low weight of 0.615kg, the soundbar is very flexible, so you can easily place it directly under your monitor, in front of your TV or on your desk. Since the soundbar allows for wireless audio transmission, you can use it as a standalone speaker anywhere in the room, for example on a shelf (within reach of a USB port or mains adapter).
Versatile Soundbar with Easy Controls
The Genius 220BT soundbar offers three connection options, including a USB port, an AUX input (3.5mm Jack) and a Bluetooth 5.3 wireless interface, which allows you to play music directly from phones, laptops or tablets from up to 10 metres away. On the front panel of the soundbar, there is a large rotary dial that is used to switch between modes (Bluetooth, USB, Line-in), adjust the volume and turn the device on or off. Thanks to plug-and-play technology, no setup or driver installation is required. Just connect the soundbar and it is immediately ready for use.
System Type
A soundbar can be either active or passive. Active systems have their own amplifier, so you don't have to worry about anything else. In contrast, passive speakers need an external amplifier to function, from which the sound is then directed to the individual speakers.
Number of Channels
The number of channels a soundbar has is undoubtedly a key parameter on the path to quality listening. This property refers to the number of independent audio signals that can be reproduced simultaneously. An example is two-channel stereo sound, where each channel represents one ear. A classic TV soundbar is installed under the television screen and broadcasts sound only from the front, but using more complex techniques you can simulate multi-channel (4/5/7.1) speaker sets to create surround sound. If the device includes real rear speakers, the spatial localisation is almost always more faithful and accurate.Specifications
