Co-op with Other Players
The iconic co-op Horde mode returns as Horde Siege, which expands on the original concept with larger maps, more participants, and more extensive battles. In Gears of War: E-Day for Xbox Series X|S / Windows, you can choose from one of the three classes—Assault, Marksman, Medic, or Breacher—and team up with other squad members to fend off Locust attacks. Linking multiple teams allows you to complete shared objectives, defeat world bosses, and earn rewards, customisation options, and equipment upgrades.
VERSUS
4v4 Duels
The competitive side of the series is represented by the return of Versus mode, which brings new maps and redesigned favourite 4v4 combat variants. Thanks to improved movement and controls, the fights in Gears of War: E-Day for Xbox Series X|S / Windows feel more dynamic while retaining the signature cover system. Jumps, traversing obstacles, flanking opponents, and swift manoeuvres provide greater freedom in every encounter.
