The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond Horizon: Deluxe Edition - Nintendo Switch 2
The question of the future of the continent
The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon Nintendo Switch 2 brings a pivotal chapter to a celebrated franchise where the future of an entire continent is at stake. The story takes you to the vast Republic of Calvard, where political intrigue, personal fortunes and hidden secrets intertwine into one epic whole.
From the perspective of 3 different people
The Legend of Heroes: Experience Trails Beyond Horizon Nintendo Switch 2 from the perspective of three different protagonists, each offering a unique perspective on the events of Zemuria. Relationship building, important decisions and the gradual discovery of the truth play a key role in how the story unfolds.
Real-time battles
The combat system combines real-time action with tactical turn-based battles, allowing you to take full advantage of each character's powerful skills. With this variety, you'll enjoy dynamic gameplay and deep strategy as you journey to uncover secrets that could change the world.
EARTH
The prophesied end of the continent
As the end of the continent of Zemuria inexorably approaches, humanity prepares to take its first step into space. An unexpected invitation from Marduk to collaborate on a cutting-edge training project brings together Van Arkride, Ashen Knight Rean Schwarzer and Father Kevin Graham. Their paths cross as secrets reaching to the very core of Zemuria begin to unravel. Although their fates gradually diverge, they are all united by the same question: what really lies beyond the horizon?
CATASTROPHE
Three interconnected storylines
The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond Horizon Nintendo Switch 2 takes you through the detailed locations of the Republic of Calvard, offering three interconnected storylines that gradually piece together the picture of impending disaster. Deepening relationships with allies, personal choices and the gradual discovery of the truth about a world on the brink of fundamental change play an important role. Each story brings a different perspective, pace and emotional charge, making the narrative feel complex and layered.
FLEXIBILITY
Switch fights to turn mode
The combat system further develops the mechanics known from Trails through Daybreak and adds the greatest level of flexibility yet. Dynamic Field Battles engage you in real-time action, while Command Battles let you switch into turn-based mode and think through every move. New Shard Commands and S-Boosts greatly expand tactical options, with each character and holo core having its own unique abilities that can be combined to suit your play style.
ALLIES
Slow down time or let the power build up
Other notable new features include abilities like Awakening, which allows selected characters to temporarily unlock a massive power boost, and Z. O. C., which allows you to slow down time and crush enemies with a quick series of attacks. Not only the attack power is increased, but also the ability to stun even heavily armored opponents. In addition to the main story, you can gather allies from all over Calvard and face the intrigues of the Ouroboros in the Grim Garten, a special dungeon where you can build your own team and test your skills to the full.
