A complete gaming audio setup
The FIFINE KS5 combines the main elements needed to create a streamlined audio workstation in one package. The AM8 dynamic microphone is complemented by the SC3 gaming audio mixer and a three-pin L9 XLR cable, which connects the microphone directly to the mixer. The setup is suitable for game communication, live streaming, podcasts and voice recording, and its desktop design means you don't need to go through a complex installation of other accessories.
FIFINE AM8 dynamic microphone
The FIFINE AM8 microphone uses a dynamic capsule with a cardioid pickup pattern, which focuses primarily on the voice coming from the front and reduces unwanted ambient noise. The 50 to 16000Hz frequency range is optimised for recording voice during gaming, streaming or creating podcasts. It has a sensitivity of −50±3dB, a signal-to-noise ratio exceeding 80dB and a maximum sound pressure level of 120dB SPL. The foam pop filter helps to suppress plosives when speaking.
XLR connection
The set includes a three-pin FIFINE L9 XLR cable, approximately 3m long, which you can use to connect the AM8 microphone directly to the SC3 audio mixer. The XLR connection feeds the analogue signal to the mixer, where you can then adjust its level and incorporate it into the final sound mix. The SC3 provides up to 50dB of gain for the dynamic microphone. As a dynamic model, the AM8 microphone does not require phantom power.
Microphone controls for USB connection
You can also use the FIFINE AM8 on its own via USB-C. In USB mode, you have access to a touch-sensitive mute button, microphone gain control, headphone volume control and RGB lighting control directly on the microphone. The integrated 3.5mm jack lets you connect headphones and monitor the captured audio with zero latency. When using the XLR connection alone, the RGB lighting, Mute button and other control functions on the microphone are inactive.
FIFINE SC3 audio mixer for quick sound control
The SC3 audio mixer lets you control important sound parameters with physical controls without constantly switching to software settings. Separate faders make it easy to adjust the levels for the microphone, Line In, headphones and Line Out, while the corresponding buttons let you quickly mute individual channels or activate microphone monitoring. Clear LED indicators show the status of important functions during use.
Wide connectivity options
The SC3 acts as the central hub for the entire audio setup. You connect it to your computer via USB-C, the combo microphone input supports both XLR and TRS, and there is also a 3.5mm Line In, Line Out, headphone output and a connector for a wired headset. The Line In lets you feed in audio from a phone, tablet or another device, for example, while the Line Out sends the resulting mix to other audio equipment. The headphone output supports direct, zero-latency monitoring.
Support for dynamic and condenser microphones
The SC3 audio mixer is not just limited to the supplied AM8 dynamic microphone. A switch next to the microphone input lets you select the mode for either a dynamic or a condenser microphone. 48V phantom power is also provided for compatible condenser XLR microphones, complete with its own light indicator. This means you can expand the setup or change the microphone in the future without having to buy a new mixer.
Sound effects for streaming and gaming
The FIFINE SC3 expands your vocal possibilities with integrated effects. It offers 12 auto-tune pitch options, 6 voice effects, and 4 buttons for your own custom sound samples. You can use the custom buttons for short sound effects or recorded phrases during your stream. All important functions are accessible directly on the control panel.
RGB backlighting to complete your gaming setup
The AM8 microphone and SC3 audio mixer both feature RGB backlighting to visually complement your gaming or streaming workspace. The mixer's backlighting highlights the individual controls, making it easy to find your way around even in low light. The AM8 microphone's lighting effects can be used when connected via USB, while its backlighting remains off when using a standalone XLR connection.

Microphone principle
A dynamic microphone is suitable for open performances, live broadcasts, music production, etc. It uses a magnet and a moving coil to capture sound.
A condenser microphone is mainly used for studio purposes. It has higher sensitivity and lower noise. It must be powered separately.
Frequency range
The frequency range indicates the range of frequencies that the microphone records. The wider the range, the more sounds it can capture.
Low frequencies (e.g. 20–200Hz): Bass, the deepest notes of instruments (double bass, kick drum) and male voices.
Mid frequencies (e.g. 200–3000Hz): The body of instruments, the foundation of the voice where the ear is most sensitive, important for speech intelligibility.
High frequencies (e.g. 3000–14000Hz): Treble, details, sibilance and the "shine" of the sound.
Air band (above 14000Hz): Gives recordings a sense of expensive, super-high-quality sound and space.
Sensitivity
