The Eglo ALTILIA garden light is used to illuminate outdoor areas, such as terraces, driveways or garden beds. The light functions as a stand-alone post with dimensions of 560 × 155 × 155mm. It does not need to be connected to the mains for operation, as it uses solar power and stores energy in a rechargeable battery. The integrated motion sensor triggers the light automatically when it detects activity in the vicinity. The plastic construction in black with a white shade meets the requirements of the IP44 protection rating and is resistant to splashing water from all directions.

Solar Power
The light operates independently of the mains thanks to its integrated solar panel. The solar cell collects sunlight during the day and converts it into electrical energy. The system reduces operating costs to zero and allows the light to be placed in any sunny spot. The solar panel stores the generated energy in a built-in rechargeable battery, which powers the light source at night. The charging and discharging process is fully automatic.
Motion and Dusk Sensor
The light includes two types of sensors for efficient energy management. An integrated dusk sensor measures the ambient light level in the range of 5 to 35 lx and activates the system after dark. The motion sensor with a 120° detection angle reacts to the movement of people up to a distance of 3m. The light only illuminates when it detects movement in the monitored sector. This method saves the energy stored in the battery during the day.
Durability
The body and shade of the light are made of a durable plastic material in a combination of black and white. The IP44 protection rating provides sufficient protection against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1mm and against splashing water from all angles. The plastic construction can withstand rainfall and outdoor humidity when permanently placed outside. The light is resistant to common weather conditions throughout the year. The construction has a net weight of 0.78kg.
Easy Ground Installation
Installing the light does not require excavation, cable laying or plugging into electrical sockets. The lower part of the construction consists of a solid ground spike, which is used for fixing directly into soil, sand or lawn. The ground spike keeps the post stable in a vertical position at the selected location. The user can change the position of the light at any time by pulling it out of the ground and spiking it into another place with sufficient sunlight.
Luminous Power
The integrated LED source provides a luminous flux of 790lm with a power consumption of 7.5W. The light emits a colour temperature of 3,000K, which corresponds to a warm white shade. The warm white light illuminates the area without glare and helps with good orientation on paths. The light contains one bulb, which is a fixed part of the body and cannot be replaced. The light source operates on a low operating voltage from the built-in rechargeable battery.
Integrated Rechargeable Battery
The system is powered by a single lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 2,200mAh. The rechargeable battery operates at a voltage of 3.7V and stores the energy obtained from the solar panel. The battery supplies the integrated LED source with electricity during the night. The control unit coordinates energy consumption based on data from the motion and dusk sensors. The package contains one battery ready for operation.
