A tripod is used to stabilise the camera in conditions where its shaking or other movement could result in blurred photos. Stabilised images look better than those captured with a hand-held camera. It’s also useful in low light conditions, when you need better depth of field, etc. A good tripod should be sufficiently durable and have a higher weight capacity than is the weight of your camera equipment.

Tripods are used to obtain sharp images, especially in low light conditions. This eliminates image blur caused by camera movement or shaking at slower shutter speeds. Tripods are perfect for shooting landscapes or architecture. They come in different shapes, sizes, and types, including monopods, tripods or small table tripods. Tripods cannot be used without a tripod head.
